DAV Model United Nations

Model United Nations (MUN) - As the name suggests, is a forum which simulates the working and functioning of the UNITED NATIONS and acts as a learning platform for today's students. This model, where students are made to represent different nations, provides them with valuable insight into the skills required to succeed in the complex, dynamic and explosive world. As international diplomats, these young learners will exhibit their depth of knowledge, vocal prowess, negotiating & diplomatic skills and management temperament while dealing with issues pertaining to their allotted country. In the process, they are exposed to the working environment in which government functionaries perform within the constitutional framework, policies and guidelines. This endeavor will help them to look at various global issues with a different point of view and would provide them with an opportunity to come up with possible solutions for maintaining international peace and cooperation. A Conference of this kind will provide our future generation with a chance to face challenges and issues from a global perspective. This Conference, a simulation of UN, would be a unique attempt to promote the concept of interdependence and the spirit of peaceful co-existence.

DAV MUN aspires to inspire the students, with the fact that, the human spirit can never be defeated, irrespective of all the trials, traumas, tribulations, that it might undergo.
